Refreshing storytelling for Aqua Pura’s national campaign

Prior to the campaign launch, we developed brand new packaging and label designs for still and sparkling varieties, with the environmental credentials, Cumbrian location and brand-new eco cap front and centre. Alongside this came strategy and content creation for 3 new social media channels, and a revamped website designed and build by our sister agency JGM. features the interactive hydration calculator, which plays a key role in driving web traffic.

The campaign centred around a national TV ad. The creative team began by storyboarding the concept: Aqua Pura’s journey from clouds to bottle, and into the hands of families enjoying the great outdoors. “We wanted to create an inspiring story to build confidence in the brand, driving it to a position of authority, while underlining the brand values of encouraging healthy hydration. The best way to do this was to show the epic journey of the water as it makes its way to British families, fuelling them on their own mini adventures.” Dan Hough, Head of Creative

With post-production on the ad complete, key elements of the creative were developed for dedicated out-of-home billboards outside Tesco stores across the UK. Hero images were also used within a paid social campaign targeting key demographics which complemented our ongoing social content strategy. We’re continuing to create engaging content for all Aqua Pura’s social channels, further reinforcing the key messages of sustainability, adventure, hydration and heritage.
