Next month we’re returning with the Food Porn Awards, but not as you know it – we’ve shaken things up! Manchester’s top eateries will now be crowned every month on Instagram as the recommended ‘place to be’.
What’s new:
We’re cutting out the awards event and keeping it simply to Instagram. You can still expect to see drool-worthy content but with an added blend of restaurant recommendations to give followers the low down on the local food scene.
Each month we’ll have a different focus – from the best places to go for date night, to tasty veggie eats and authentic Italians, we’ll be covering all bases. We’ll be highlighting our favourite eateries and dishes for each focus, calling on our followers to get involved and help us crown the winners based on votes.
How to get involved:
If you’re a chef, Marketing Manager or Manager that’d like to be featured just follow the simple steps below:
1. Email us at hello@shoot-the-moon.co.uk
2. Include a few details about your eatery and your star dish – name, where we can find you, what you offer etc.
3. Attach some high quality pictures of your venue and/or dish or tag us in your best Instagram posts.
If you’re crowned a winner, we’ll award you with a ‘must visit’ feature on our feed. What’ve you got to lose?
When you visit us in Manchester
We have free parking available on site (M4 6AX) but, spaces are limited. Day parking is also available on Goulden Street just round the corner.
When you visit us in Leeds
If you’re visiting us in Leeds we’re based at Mabgate Mills (LS9 7DZ) and there are plenty of parking options nearby.
Day parking is available nearby with free on street parking available for 4 hours on Cherry Row and reasonably priced parking on Macaulay Street and Mabgate via an app called ‘Park Mobile’.
