6th July 2022
Meet the TeamOffice news

Emily has worked at STM for just over three years now, starting as an Account Executive and recently promoted to Account Manager. She’s worked on the Pets at Home account and many others such as TUI, Tim Hortons and Hickory’s Smokehouse. Read on to learn more about Emily’s role, career and bucket-list must haves!

How did it feel when you were promoted?

It felt really good! It was always on my list to become an Account Manager by the time I was 25, I was 26 when I achieved this but I think we can all blame covid for the missing years!

How did you get to where you are today?

A lot of hard work and determination, I only got x2 A Levels at school so I had to do a foundation year before I started my degree (Advertising and Brand management). Getting into the job market proved difficult as everyone wanted someone with experience, luckily my previous job took me under their wing which eventually led me to Shoot the Moon.

What does success look like to you?

I think being proud of what you have done is success to me!

What one quality do you need to become successful?

Organisation, nothing bad will ever come from this. I do have to say this translates into my personal life too, I have some OCD tendencies.

What has the high point of your career been to date? What is your ideal end goal?

I think getting to where I am now, my aim was to work up to getting to account manager level, I don’t really have an end goal. I’m going to see where this takes me!

What is your favourite project that you are currently working on?

Anything TUI! I love working with the team over there and the projects are always exciting, we are currently gearing up for Winter 2022.

What do you do in your spare time?

I like to spend time cooking new things and with my friends and family.

What’s left on your bucket list?

More holidays! Asia, Australia, and America/Canada.

If you could live anywhere, where would it be?

I love Italy so I guess it would have to be there – great food, weather, and vibes.
